What to Expect When You Arrive
When you come to Summit’s Orthopedic Urgent Care, our experts evaluate you to determine the extent of injury. If necessary, they order imaging tests, such as MRI or CT scans. Your care team then creates a treatment plan to help you overcome your orthopedic issue.
Depending on your diagnosis, you may benefit from one or more of the following:
● Crutches
● Ice, compression, and rest
● Pain medication
● Splinting
Severe injuries may require surgery. Our urgent care providers can connect you with a Summit Orthopedics orthopedic surgeon who specializes in your injury. Can You Treat My Injury?
Some 99% of musculoskeletal injuries, from joint pain to a shoulder injury to a broken bone, are appropriate for visits to Summit’s Orthopedic Urgent Care.
